The humanitarian situation in Ukraine and the Russian delegation will be discussed at the meetings of the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Europe. It opens today in Strasbourg, France. The session will take part Chairman of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin. He arrived at the personal invitation of the President of PACE.
Naryshkin said that Russia appreciates the dialogue at the site of PACE, but is ready to suspend its membership in the organization
during the year. This will be done if the credentials of the Russian delegation will again be limited. Last year, the PACE representatives have deprived Russia of voting rights. The reason was the change in the status of Crimea. Our delegates in protest ahead of schedule left Strasbourg.
