Georgy Poltavchenko refused to assign the street in St. Petersburg, the name of Akhmad Kadyrov – Kommersant

St. Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko, in response to the initiative of the Legislative Assembly deputy Vitaly Milonova about naming Akhmad Kadyrov one of the city streets, questioned the need for such action. “With all due respect to the identity of Akhmad Kadyrov should admit

that he was not directly involved in the life of St. Petersburg, not lived and worked in our city” – quoted “Interfax” statement of Mr. Poltavchenko. The governor noted that the issue of naming Akhmad Kadyrov one aspect of the urban environment will be worked out by the Committee on Culture.
