Force Commander of NATO and US forces in Europe, General Philippe Breedlove announced his intention to restore the functioning of the communication channels with the Russian military, Reuters reported.
Breedlove spoke in favor of restoring contact with the head of the Russian General Staff General Valery Gerasimov, reports from Brussels RIA Novosti.
“I had open lines of communication, I spoke with General even after the invasion of the Crimea. We plan to resume” – leads the RIA Novosti words Bridlava.
Earlier, the commander of NATO forces said the alliance increase the number and improve the intensity of military exercises, especially in the Baltic region.
