UN asks Russia to describe humanitarian goods at Donbass with August 2014 – BFM.Ru

According to the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, only since August 2014 Donbass delivered over 14.8 thousand humanitarian assistance

The UN has asked Russia to provide “full inventory” of humanitarian goods delivered to the east of Ukraine since last August. This is stated in the report of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.

«Since August, Russia sent 11 convoys, which reportedly taken to the areas controlled by non-state actors Donbass 14.5 thousand tons of humanitarian aid. UN asked to complete an inventory of assistance provided, as well as information on how it is distributed, “- the document says.

According to the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry, since last August 11th columns in the Donbass was delivered more than 14, 8 thousand of humanitarian aid – is, first of all, food and other essential items, as well as medicines.

The last convoy of 120 vehicles arrived in Donetsk and Lugansk January 8, delivering almost 1.5 tons supplies and Christmas gifts for children.

According to the Office of TASS organization awareness Russian Emergencies Ministry is now preparing to dispatch another – the 12th in a row motorcade carrying humanitarian aid for the Donbass. Of the cars out of the Noginsk Rescue Emergency Center, and the rest will go to other Russian regions.
