Chairman of the City Council does not rule out dismissals on the basis of yesterday’s session – Mail.Ru

At the session the deputies considered the treatment of the two warring factions: one advocated immediate resignation from the post of the Speaker Revkutsa, the second – for the resignation from the post of Gliskova the vice-speaker. As a result, secret ballot both retained their posts. For a review of Valery Revkutsa from the post 18 deputies voted for the resignation of Vice-Speaker 14 people spoke at the required 19.

Commenting on the results of the extraordinary session, Valery Revkuts suggested that dismissal still can take place.

«I do not rule anything out. I am quite sober man and lived a large piece of life. I do not exclude that I’ll leave, “- said Revkuts, but admitted that a group of deputies who voted for deprivation of his office of the chairman,” to behave different, or perhaps anyone of them lay down his office as deputy ».

The speaker also noted that many of those who opposed his candidacy for a chairman chosen by the City Council in the political parties, and therefore, may decide to withdraw his party members.

«If the situation is unacceptable to me, to the detriment of the city, I will not work” – he concluded.
