In the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous District disappeared Mi-8 helicopter. At the appointed time the aircraft took off from Nizhnevartovsk, has not arrived at the airport of Surgut, said the Ministry of Emergency Situations on the site.

According to preliminary data, on board the helicopter were five people. Division of Emergency Situations Ministry and other emergency services organized search and rescue operations involving aircraft and three ground-based groups. In readiness for departure is also the Mi-8 with rescuers.

The total search helicopter attracted more than 90 people and 10 vehicles. Ministry of Emergency Situations holds capacity grouping of forces and means.

Last week, in the Kemerovo region, three people were killed in a hard landing of the helicopter Robinson. On board were the pilot and two passengers.

The investigation concluded that the cause of a helicopter crash area was the emergency situation in the area of ​​the river Kiya. “According to eyewitnesses, the helicopter, flying over the river Kiya, reserve water gauge wire strung across the river, and then landed on a sandbank. After 10 minutes, the helicopter took off again and climb lurched sideways and fell to a low altitude “, – reported in the TFR.
