Missing Mi-8 delivered to Nizhnevartovsk sick child – IA REGNUM

Khanty-Mansiysk, July 3, 2015, 07:56 – REGNUM Lost in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug Mi-8 helicopter carrying a sick child from Surgut to Nizhnevartovsk, NTV reports citing regional Emergency Management.

The crew stopped communicating on the way back. The girl was safely delivered to the Nizhnevartovsk. On board the helicopter were three crew members and two physician.

Currently, the Emergency Situations Ministry rescuers continue to search within a radius of 50-60 kilometers. Presumably, the helicopter may be on the territory of the Surgut district – is calculated according to the latest data from the mobile phones of those on board.

The search operation involved about 100 people and eight units of special equipment.
