The march, organized by the opposition, scheduled for March 1st. Initially, the organizers planned to hold this action with the symbolic name “Spring” in the heart of the Russian capital. However, the current government insisted to move the event to the area of Marino, explaining the decision is not political reasons. According to the authorities, Tver, which originally was to be the venue for the march, too overloaded to overlap traffic. Such a measure, according to authorities, may lead to serious congestion around Moscow, which is already famous for its traffic jams.
According to the idea of the opposition march “Spring” to shed light on the current situation in the Russian state. The main theme of fees should be the question of admission of the opposition to the election. Moreover, the opposition concerned about the ongoing conflict with Ukraine, as well as the presence of strict censorship in the country.
As shared by Leonid Volkov, organizer of the event, the decision of the authorities to move the march to another area not too hurt the feelings of the opposition, because for them the main thing – to bring their ideas to the people.
