Ministry of Russia is going to transfer to Iran several tigers to restore the population in exchange for a leopard, a nursery for breeding which is in Sochi. The decision was taken during a visit to the country head of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Minister Sergei Donskoi.

And in 2010 from Iran to Sochi The Centre has already brought two female leopards: Cherie and Mino. Rare animals gave progeny in the nursery several times, adding to today formed the core of the northern leopard population.
