The former chairman of the bank “Menatep” Platon Lebedev told a press conference that he can not get a passport because of a court decision not to pay them, and Mikhail Khodorkovsky 17 billion rubles (284 million dollars) taxes.
“Because of this, do not give me a passport, but this topic is now under consideration by the Council of Europe” – Lebedev said.

In April last year, the FMS of Russia informed the businessman that he can not leave Russia until paid 17 billion rubles (284 million dollars), the court decided to collect from Khodorkovsky and Lebedev is still in the first criminal case “Yukos”.
Later, the European Court of Human Rights considered improper recovery from Khodorkovsky’s the money.
Platon Lebedev served more than 10 years in prison on two cases of “YUKOS” and was released by the Supreme Court in late January.
Khodorkovsky was amnestied in December 2013 and left Russia.
