Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the establishment of a new military professional holiday – Day of the Special Operations Forces. He will be celebrated on February 27. That is, as of today.

Special Operations Forces, or MTR, a new unit of the Armed Forces. Formed they started six years ago by the decision of the top management of Russia. And as a joke creators of these forces, they have gone through three stages.
