Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that the actions of the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama has led to the fact that relations between Moscow and Washington was at a very low level. He told about it in interview to the Second channel of Israel on the eve of his visit to this state, the text of the interview published on the official portal of the government of the Russian Federation.
“because Of what happened in Ukraine, thanks to the efforts of the Obama administration these relations are dropped, that is, below the plinth, they have become quite low. And it’s not our fault and not our choice”, — said the head of the Cabinet.

Medvedev also noted that in establishing contacts with Obama after his election as President “could not imagine that they (the relations between Russia and the U.S. — ed. “Of the tape.ru”) comes to such an unprecedented low point.”
however, the Prime Minister stressed that Russia is interested in normalizing relations with the United States and are ready to “unfreeze” contacts, regardless of who will become the new owner of the White house.
“We by and large don’t care who is President. And not because it’s not our choice, but simply because any President of the United States of America will primarily focus on American interests,”— said Dmitry Medvedev.
In his opinion, Washington does not care about the mistakes committed by American Armed forces during military campaigns. He said this, commenting on the accusations of the USA in Russia about the bombing campaign in Syria. “The United States of America, which usually are two or three military campaigns, never see the problems, but trying to shift these problems from a sick head on healthy” — said the Prime Minister.
Medvedev also stressed that “in any situation it is necessary to understand”, and accusations against Russia “are very often one-sided”.
the Situation in the Syrian city of Aleppo in the past few months, has deteriorated. The West accuses the country’s authorities and Russia’s bombing of civilians and armed opposition. Damascus and Moscow, in turn, insist that strikes only against terrorists, and accused Washington of failing to influence the moderate opposition groups, forcing them to dissociate themselves from the extremists.
