Putin spoke about the media forum on media and magistrates – Neelov

During the media forum ONF Russian leader spoke on a number of important issues. Among the topics under discussion – state support of private media and the responsibility of the judges. Putin also promised to study the issue of tenure of magistrates.

On a question from a journalist about the competition between private and state media in the hard conditions of the current crisis. Answering this question, Vladimir Putin said that the independent media should extend the system of state support, because their development is interested society. So for them should develop a specific support system.

The amount of money to support the media in the current year should be solid, Putin said, as it was last year, when for these purposes has been allocated about 36 billion rubles to finance the opposition media. For example, RBC TV got four and a half million rubles, Moskovsky Komsomolets – almost eighteen million, Echo of Moscow – fifteen million rubles, but the channel rain even more than thirty million.

Also at the media forum one of the participants spoke about the difficulties of justice for ordinary citizens of Russia, and also made an offer to refuse from the “Institute of tenure of magistrates.” After all, judges should be responsible for their own decisions. On this occasion, the president acknowledged that the judiciary must not only develop and improve.

Putin stressed that the Russian judiciary system is one of the most developed. But he believes that in financial terms, it should be accessible to all Russians. Also, the Russian president promised to study the issue of tenure of magistrates.
