Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree appointing former Agriculture Minister Nikolai Fyodorov his adviser, the department will be headed by the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachev.
At the suggestion Tkachev Putin appointed acting governor of Krasnodar region before the elections in September, ex- Deputy head of the region Benjamin Kondratieff.
“We need to consolidate the efforts of the government and the presidential administration, and regions to ensure that the funds that the government has planned to allocate for development of the industry, was spent as efficiently as possible,” – said Putin at a meeting with Fedorov.
