According to “Kommersant”, attacked the police post were two Chechen-born 21-year-old Usman Murdalov and 18-year-old Sulim Israilov. The official representative of the Ministry of Interior of Russia Irina Wolf told that the attackers were natives of Central Asia.

According to investigators, the attackers had planned to attack the police officers with the aim to seize their weapons.
