the United States and Russia announced that it resume negotiations on the settlement of the conflict in Syria, which was suspended earlier this month.

according to the statement, the state Department, John Kerry will discuss a multifaceted approach to address this crisis, including a sustained cessation of violence and the resumption of deliveries of humanitarian assistance.

it is Expected that the negotiations in Lausanne will also take part representatives of the key regional players – Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Iran.
