The new “Children’s World” pleads not responsible for Nazi toys – a REGNUM
After the scandal around the recently opened after almost 7-year reconstruction of the Central Children’s Store on Lubyanka Square, where in one of the pavilions were found children’s toys with Nazi symbols, representatives of “Gals-Development” (the owner of the shopping center) stated that the management company is not responsible for the goods exhibited in pavilions, since the space is rented, according to “News».
Meanwhile, in accordance with Russian law, a criminal case, products with Nazi symbols removed under investigation, set the point of sale of similar goods.
“After receiving sufficient information on the facts of the sale of the busts of the soldiers and officers in the form of Nazi Germany the period of 1939-1945 with Nazi symbols, including the Waffen SS, a criminal case on grounds of crime under Part 1 of Art. 282 “inciting hatred or hostility, and humiliation of human dignity”, – said the Chief Investigation Department of Insurance in Moscow Julia Ivanova.
As it became known, “toys” were put up for sale by “Technology of Youth” – a network of shops selling radio controlled cars, model kits and copies of the railways.
As previously reported IA REGNUM , on the fifth floor of the Central Children’s Store on Lubyanka Square in one of the stores shoppers found figures and busts of Nazi soldiers.
The visitors were outraged: on the eve of the anniversary celebration of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, in close proximity to the Kremlin and Red Square are on sale children’s toys with Nazi symbols.
One of the visitors said that he went to the new “Children’s World” to buy his son to the Victory Day figures of Soviet soldiers-winners. But instead they found lined up on the counter as the parade of the Nazis. One of the figures shows obershturmbanfyurrera SS Otto Skorzeny. Figure of the terrorist and saboteur, who served as personal orders of Adolf Hitler, and at whose hands the blood of our soldiers and citizens offered to buy for our own children. Next to Skorzeny was possible to figure out the German Avenging feldzhandarmerii that the occupied territories were murdered by guerrillas. All figurines are made with high accuracy and detail, they are clearly visible Nazi regalia and insignia, including the swastika, and the emblem of the SS in the form of a skull and crossbones.
At the same time sellers and shop management do not understand what the problem is. One of the vendors told reporters that need to remember our history. Waffen-SS was recognized by the Nuremberg Tribunal international criminal organization. That SS obey orders of the then German leaders about the physical destruction of millions of Soviet citizens.
In Russia, Nazi propaganda and Nazi symbols is prohibited in law. In accordance with Articles 354.1 and 282 of the Criminal Code, for the rehabilitation of fascism relies penalty of imprisonment for up to five years.
