The SU IC Russia in the field of RIA Novosti neither confirmed nor denied the information about the searches in Sandakova apartment, adding that the criminal investigation is continuing.
The Federal Security service of the area also did not specify whether held today searched the apartment of the former deputy governor.
Earlier investigation department TFR for the region reported that Sandakov, using his official position of the first assistant to the governor of the Chelyabinsk region, awarded 1.5 million rubles.
