Homeopathy is officially recognized as a pseudoscience in Russia, said in a Memorandum to the Commission of the Russian Academy of Sciences to combat pseudoscience and falsification of scientific research. In the text of the document States that as a form of alternative medicine homeopathy, there are already more than 200 years. RAS Experts say that homeopathy is dangerous because patients spend a lot of money on non-performing drugs and neglect with medicines that have proven effectiveness. “This can lead to poor outcomes, including death of the patient”, – stated in the text. In connection with the analysis, the Commission recommended that the Ministry of health to withdraw homeopathic remedies from the medical use in state and municipal medical institutions.
