The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine sent to Russia the request for detention of Ukrainians 47 – RIA Novosti

KYIV, 11 Feb – RIA Novosti. Kiev has sent Moscow a request in connection with the detention of Ukrainians in the case of an international drug ring, said the message on the page of the Department of consular service of the Ukrainian foreign Ministry in Facebook.

it became known yesterday that the interior Ministry and

the FSB stopped the activities in Russia of an international drug ring “Khimprom” and arrested 67 people, of whom 47 were citizens of Ukraine.

the Ukrainian side has requested the foreign Ministry and the interior Ministry to confirm the information about the presence of Ukrainians among the detainees, the part of the alleged crime, the place of detention and presence of counsel.

According to the Russian interior Ministry, the drug ring operated in Russia in 2015. The group has organized an Internet-shop “Himprom” which posted information about types of drugs, their prices and methods of purchase.
