MOSCOW, 1 Feb. /TASS/. The Director of FSB of Russia Alexander Bortnikov instructed to set the border zone in the border with Belarus the Russian regions. The relevant orders of the FSB Director on the establishment of the border zone in neighboring Belarus, Smolensk, Bryansk and Pskov regions published on the portal of legal information.
In the orders of the Director of the FSB Border service of the FSB is mandated to “establish a place and time for entry (passage) of persons and vehicles in the border zone”, as well as set warning signs at the entrances to the border zone.

on 9 January President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree establishing a visa-free entry into the Republic through the checkpoint “Minsk national airport” for a period of not more than five days to the nationals of 80 countries, including all European Union as well as Brazil, Indonesia, USA, Japan.
As noted in the explanatory note to the order of FSB of Russia, in particular, “On the limits of the border zone in the Pskov region”, he “aims at creating the necessary conditions for the protection of the state border of the Russian Federation on the Russian-Belarusian section, and events for crime prevention, the fight against which is within the competence of border agencies”.
the border zone Regime means that the entry of vehicles or the passage of persons in the border zone is possible according to documents, identity cards and passes issued by border authorities. In addition, the set of entry into the border zone, shall determine the time and routes of movement, duration and other terms of stay in the border zone.
