Ukrainian foreign Ministry sent the foreign Ministry and the interior Ministry requests for confirmation of the information about the detention of 47 Ukrainians in the framework of the investigation of an international drug ring. This is stated in the message of Department of consular service of the MFA of Ukraine in Facebook.
“To the foreign Ministry and the Investigative Department of the MIA of the Russian Federation sent requests for confirmation of information on the presence among the detained citizens of Ukraine, alleged crimes, place of detention and the presence of a lawyer”, — the message says.
About the detention of 67 people, including 47 citizens of Ukraine, said the official representative of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia Irina the Wolf on the eve of February 10. According to her, the FSB and the interior Ministry stopped the activities of an international drug ring, with branches in 14 regions. It had an annual turnover of 2 billion rubles, she said.
the Drug ring was “well-built scheme of drug trafficking, from production to implementation,” said the Wolf. In her words, “persons in Ukraine”, for the marketing of drugs in Russia “organized by the Internet-shop “Khimprom”, which placed information on the types, prices and how to purchase drugs.”
