Commission to combat pseudoscience of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences has recognized homeopathy unscientific discipline, reported by the “Kommersant”.
the document of the Academy States that the treatment of ultra-low doses with homeopathic medicines has no scientific basis. According to the explanatory note to the document attempts to establish homeopathy as a scientific discipline is taking more than 200 years, but to no avail.
in addition, the Commission recommends that the Ministry of health to exclude all homeopathic medicines from public hospitals, and FAS – to protect consumers from false advertising, which can claim that they have medicinal properties.
the Application of homeopathy in “public health practice” was allowed by the order of Ministry of health of the Russian Federation in 1995. In the Department promised to study the document of the Commission of Sciences and to respond to its findings as soon as it will be at the disposal of the Ministry.
