Putin accepted the resignation of the head of Buryatia – TASS

MOSCOW, February 7. /TASS/. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin accepted the resignation of the head of Buryatia Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn, the acting head of the region appointed the Deputy head of the Ministry of transport of Russia Alexey Tsydenov. About it announced in a press-service of the Kremlin.

Nagovitsyn headed the region since 2007. Commenting on his decision not to run for a third term, he told reporters that the Republic needs a change.

Aleksei Tsydenov was born 16 March 1976 in the town of Petrovsk-Zabaikalsky in Chita oblast. In 1998 he graduated from far Eastern state University of Railways. In 2011, he underwent professional retraining in the Russian Academy of national economy under the RF President on the programme of training higher level administrative personnel reserve.

From 1998 to 2006 Tsydenov worked in senior positions of a number of far Eastern transport enterprises. In 2006 he became Deputy head of the Department of state policy for railway transport Ministry of transport, and in 2009 – Deputy head of the Department of industry and infrastructure of the government. In 2012, the head of the Federal railway transport Agency, in June of the same year was appointed Deputy Minister of transport.

First order

At the meeting with Tsydenova the President said that the development of tourism and agriculture, as well as the use of natural resources in Buryatia require special attention. At the same time, Vladimir Putin noted that the acting head of the region is well aware of the situation in the Republic.

Tsydenov, in turn, expressed confidence that “the Republic has an objective advantage.” In his words, is “natural (especially) from the point of view of tourism development”, “large reserves of minerals in demand, good geographical location in terms of proximity to Asia Pacific markets”. “Good potential in agriculture. From the point of view of historical experience, in the first place, this animal,” continued Tsydenov.

He also drew attention to some high-tech industries, “which in the framework of import substitution and current realities also (has) quite a confident Outlook”. “I am confident that under Your leadership, with the support of the government and, of course, residents of the Republic can economic level, quality of life to raise in a relatively short time – assured Tsydenov Putin. All it will do.”

Priority actions

Putin said that, according to Tzudenova, is “the most promising, which one would have to begin to perceive the movement forward.” Acting head of the region answered that, first of all, “to generate employment” as quickly is possible to develop livestock farming and tourism, “with a more long-term is the development of mineral deposits, there are more all tied to transportation infrastructure, to energy”. He expressed confidence in the international tourist potential of Buryatia.

“But people definitely need good roads, good living conditions, yards beautiful, convenient, comfortable, social sphere, medicine, education. There are some ideas. Will try to implement,” concluded Tsydenov.

At the meeting with Putin he also said that he started his work at the far Eastern railway in the transport service Centre, and then moved to the business (“created first company operators of private vagonpark”), in 2006 the Ministry of transport, thence to the government of Russia, then in Roszheldor. Since 2012, as Deputy Minister of transport Tsydenov was in charge of the railway sphere, science, use of GLONASS, strategy and strategic planning documents. He also noted that he worked with the regions, including in the framework of the instructions of the President of commuter traffic.
