As it became known on February 4 after a long illness died a famous Soviet and Russian actor Georgy Taratorkin. He was 72. Farewell is scheduled for 6 February.

Georgi Georgievich Taratorkin was born in Leningrad on 11 January 1945. He graduated from the Studio at the Leningrad youth Theatre named Bryantseva. In 1968, starred in the movie, the first film was the painting “Sophia Perovskaya”.
Taratorkin served in the theatres of Leningrad state youth theatre, Theatre of Mossovet and “Sphere”.
George Taratorkin has played in such films as “Crime and punishment” (the role of Raskolnikov), “Tagged atom”, “Purely English murder”, “Little tragedies”, “Rich man, poor man”, “the Last story”, “easy to Die”, “24″, “Love Emperor”, “Not born beautiful”, “Detective Putilin” and many others.
was Awarded the title of honored artist of the RSFSR (1976), people’s artist of the RSFSR (1984).
