Unknown kidnapped two Russian citizens Central Darfur, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the governor of the region of Sudan.
“Armed unknown kidnapped two Russian citizens, when they move unescorted” – quoted by RIA Novosti Governor of Darfur Jaafar Abdel Hakam.
The Russian Embassy in Sudan confirms information about the kidnapping, according to TASS.
Stolen were employees of a certain avikompanii and worked on contract for the UN mission in Sudan, the representative of the joint mission of the United Nations and the African Union.
The kidnapping took place on January 29.
