Moscow. February 20th. INTERFAX.RU – Columns of Russian Emergencies Ministry carrying humanitarian aid for Donbass reached the Russian border, said the deputy head of the National Center for Crisis Management of Emergency Situations Ministry Oleg Voronov.

“In the two border crossings Matveyev Kurgan and Donetsk began customs and border clearance goods. Upon its completion, one column will go to Lugansk, and the other – in Donetsk, “- he said.

A total of 30 car driven more than 200 tons of humanitarian aid intended for residents Debaltseve and several other settlements of Donbass, where not enough food, daily necessities, lack of basic life support.

The bulk of the goods are food, including baby food.

At this time, the staff of the customs and border services of Ukraine is not involved in the inspection of vehicles and cargo. They first moved to the border to meet columns, but then inexplicably turned around. At the same time for all customs and border procedures, as usual, was observed by representatives of the OSCE mission.

Columns accompany doctors and psychologists to assist in case of emergency.
