Boris Nemtsov was born October 9, 1959 in Sochi. He graduated from the Faculty of Radiophysics of Gorky State University. He worked at the Gorky Research Institute of Radio Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (RRI), defended his dissertation, received a degree in
physics and mathematics.
