Russian President Vladimir Putin said on February 23 that he and his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko save contacts, but sometimes he extremely surprised by the statement of the Ukrainian leadership, in particular the involvement of the Kremlin administration to the events on the Maidan. “We have saved contact. I wonder sometimes just a few public statements of the Ukrainian leadership, such that the members of our administration participated in the tragic events in the Maidan year ago – this is absolutely nonsense, so far from reality that even wonder where it comes from, “- said Mr. Putin, in an interview with RTR. “Sometimes I hear then, that such statements are based on inaccurate data of special services, as I sometimes say, but I asked to be more attentive when using those data which lie on the table of my Ukrainian colleagues” – quoted by “RIA Novosti” Russian president.
