Russian Emergency Situations Ministry planes with humanitarian aid arrived in the Donbas Rostov-on-Don – RIA Novosti

MOSCOW, February 19 – RIA Novosti. Two Russian Emergencies Ministry aircraft delivered in Rostov-on-Don humanitarian aid for the residents of Debaltsevo and several other settlements of Donbass, said deputy head of the National Center for Crisis Management Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Oleg Voronov.

According to him, two IL-76 aircraft landed at the airport of Rostov-on-Don. On board a total of about 70 tons of cargo, mainly products, including baby food, as well as medicines and other essential items.

This humanitarian assistance will be overwhelmed at the cars that will be part of the column for Donbass.

“At the present time in the Rostov region continues formation of additional extra column Emergencies Ministry for the residents of several cities of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, where the sum is the most difficult situation,” – said the Ravens.

Earlier Thursday, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed the Cabinet and the Ministry of Emergency Situations to prepare proposals for the provision of humanitarian aid to the starving in Ukraine, including the area Debaltseve.
