US expects “orderly process” exit of Britain from the EU – TASS

WASHINGTON, 27 June. / Corr. Tass Shitov /. US expects “orderly process” exit of Britain from the EU. White House spokesman Eric Schultz said this on Monday at a regular press briefing. He recalled that in order to begin the process of London must submit a notification and that it is not already.

Schultz did not rule out that the beginning of the process will be delayed until the autumn. He stressed that the solution of these procedural issues – “the work of the authorities,” the UK and the EU. He also stressed that, according to the US, the process must be “organized and transparent”.

Schultz assured that the United States intends to maintain a special relationship “not only with the government but also to the people,” the UK.

The White house acknowledged that the results of the referendum of the British called “increased volatility” in the financial markets of the world. According to him, US officials maintain regular contacts with their foreign counterparts to mitigate the negative effects. In particular, the Minister of Finance Jack Lew, according to Schultz, communicated to all colleagues from the G7 leading Western powers and China.
