Vice-Governor of the Chelyabinsk region was arrested for bribe – Russian newspaper

Tonight FSB officials on suspicion of taking bribes in a large scale (Part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code) arrested the deputy governor of the Chelyabinsk region Nikolai Sandakov. In his office officials raided, told the “RG” own source in law enforcement.

– Nicholas Sandakov arrested about seven o’clock in the evening in his office in Chelyabinsk in the framework of a criminal investigation of bribery on a large scale – said the source “RG”. – Investigators have reason to believe that the vice-governor “milked” the former city manager of Ozersk Yevgeny Tarasov, who is serving a sentence for the theft of 22.4 million rubles from the budget of the urban district. The information was obtained in the course of a criminal investigation of Senator Constantine Tsybko, just accused of taking bribes from the former city manager of Ozersk. The last two months Sandakov Nicholas was in rapid development. In his case had been questioned many officials of the regional government.

In the office of Nicholas Sandakova searched, and then under the protection of the official sent to the District Office for the UK in the Urals Federal District Yekaterinburg to testify in a criminal case.
