The State Duma adopted a bill to suspend indexation of salaries of civil servants and increase social payments – Chelyabinsk Service Information

The State Duma adopted in the first reading of a bill to suspend this year indexation of salaries of civil servants and increasing social payments only by 5.5%, according to Tass.

The corresponding initiative submitted to the State Duma, the Russian government apparatus. According to the document, in 2015 the indexation of salaries of civil servants, judges, military personnel and persons equated to them, as well as social payments and compensation will be carried out in accordance with the amendments to the federal budget for 2015 and the planning period 2016-2017.

In addition, it is proposed to leave earlier projected inflation rate of 5.5% indexation of some social payments, benefits and compensation.

«We have repeatedly stated that in a difficult situation, in terms of anti-crisis program of social obligations States should be carried out, “- said after the meeting of the lower house of parliament State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin. He noted that the law requires careful analysis and amendment.

March 16 the government introduced in the State Duma amendments to the budget for 2015, which suggests to index social benefits and allowances by 5.5% – the inflation rate set in as the budget for 2015. According to materials of the Ministry of Finance, the federal budget deficit in 2015 will amount to 2.675 trillion rubles, or 3.7% of GDP.

At the same time the government submitted to the State Duma a bill to stop before January 1, 2016 indexation of salaries of civil servants, military personnel, judges as well as the benefits and compensation.
