Cabinet opposed compulsory work for speeding – Moskovsky Komsomolets

The Russian government has prepared a negative opinion on the bill, involving punishment by compulsory works for speeding on the value of more than 100 kilometers per hour.

The document envisages a sentence of compulsory work 120 to 140 hours or deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for 9 months.

The bill was submitted to the Duma in December, deputy Mikhail Serdyukov. According to the MP, compulsory work for street racers had become a serious moral lesson, promotes awareness of the inadmissibility of such offenses.

Today, the driver exceeded the speed of 100 kilometers per hour or more can be punished with a fine of 5000 rubles, or deprivation of rights for six months.
