Research organization “Levada-center” has apologized for publishing incorrect data about the deterioration of relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin. On 13 December, the Levada center published a poll, according to which 29 percent of Russians have deteriorated the attitude to the Russian President. A new report from sociologists said that this was the result of a technical error. According to them, the attitude to Putin deteriorated by 14 percent.”
center Director Lev Gudkov explained that this error is caused by the fact that in the questionnaire positive answers (“improved”) and negative answers (“deteriorated”) to periodically change their position.
According to him, such mistakes are rare, but do happen when working with large volumes of data. “We apologize for making a mistake and will try in the future more strictly control our press release,” the message reads.
Earlier, the Levada center has filed an appeal against the decision of Zamoskvoretsky court about the recognition of the legitimate inclusion of an entity in the registry of NCOs-registered as foreign agents.

In November, the Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow after the filing of the complaint on the decision of justice confirmed the legality of the inclusion of the organization in the registry.
