U.S. Authorities have detained an American citizen, Joshua Samuel Aaron, accused of the theft of data about 100 million customers of JPMorgan Chase, which has previously given to Russia, said in a press release, the U.S. justice Department.

Aaron, also known under the name Mike shields, along with the detainees earlier in Israel’s accomplices Gary Deal (Harry Shalelashvili) and Ziv Orenstein is accused of “large-scale cybercrime”. Aaron will appear before the court on Wednesday evening local time (early morning GMT).

“Joshua Samuel Aaron, as we assume, worked on hacking the networks of dozens of American companies, which ultimately led to the largest identity theft in the history of US financial institutions,” said Federal Prosecutor of Manhattan, preet Bharara.
