this Past November was the coldest in Russia since the beginning of the century, according to the hydrometeorological center of Russia.

“November, like the past, Russia is not seen, according to the operational climate monitoring conducted by the Hydrometeorological centre of Russia, since 2000. The cold gripped almost the entire country from the Western border to the sea of Okhotsk,” — said the weather service.

So, in the Urals and in Western Siberia the average for the month, the temperature was 4-6 degrees below normal. In Primorye, the past November was the third coldest in the history of meteorological observations, that is since 1891, said the Meteorologist. As for the Ural, then this cold November was last observed in the region almost 30 years ago — in 1987.

while in many regions of Russia set a new record minimum air temperature, the Arctic region of the country remained in the power of the abnormally warm weather — where temperatures were 6-12 degrees warmer than normal.

in Addition to Russia, November was cold also in large parts of the Eastern hemisphere. Record cold had been registered in the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, said the meteorologist.

At the same time in the Western hemisphere is the opposite situation. According to the weather service in the U.S. and Canada last November turned out to be 4-8 degrees warmer than normal and was the warmest in history.
