The Cossack Union of St. Petersburg set in the suburb of a bust of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the image of the Roman emperor. It is reported by the German edition of Deutsche Welle, the reporter who visited the opening of the monument.
«This image – a symbol of our democracy in Russia”, – explained to journalists in St. Petersburg Ataman Cossack society “Irbis” Andrey Polyakov.
The Cossacks have installed a bust of Putin as an appreciation for the adherence of Crimea, says Le Figaro.

At the opening of the monument, which was held on Saturday afternoon, the Russian national anthem sounded, the Cossacks saluted the bust of the president.
The event brought together about a dozen members of the Cossack Unions and as many journalists. Putin’s bust was installed on the territory of private property Ataman Polyakov and his Cossack society in a cottage settlement near the village Agalatovo, about 20 km north of St. Petersburg.
Polyakov said that the monument had elsewhere have a lot of time to spend on the agreement, but to wait, according to Ataman long Cossacks could not.
