Aviaekspert from Sochi sentenced to 12 years in prison for treason – Rosbalt.RU

 Krasnodar Regional Court sentenced a former air traffic controller from Sochi Peter Parpulova to 12 years in prison for treason.

“The court, taking into account the views of the public prosecutor admitted Parpulova guilty under Art. 275 of the Criminal Code (high treason) and sentenced to 12 years imprisonment in a penal colony. Sentencing took place behind closed doors, “- told” Interfax “the defendant’s lawyer Oleg Eliseev.

The state prosecutor, recall, asked the court to sentence aviaeksperta to 13 years in prison.

 What exactly Parpulova accused, is still unknown. The case was heard in closed session, and process materials, including evidence for the defense, been classified as “top secret”. The relatives also did not know of any action and even in favor of any country judged Sochi residents.

It is only known that the former deputy chief of traffic service of the Black Sea service center movement of the branch “Air Navigation South” Peter Parpulov accused of having committed high treason in 2010, while on holiday in another country. Relatives have suggested that it is about Georgia, where a man went that year to the cousin.
