KRASNOYARSK, March 3 – RIA Novosti Tourists from Nizhny. Novgorod contacted rescuers and reported that one of the two members of the group, came under an avalanche in Tunkinsky region of Buryatia, told RIA Novosti spokesman Ministry of Emergency Situations of the republic Radna Podprugina.
Earlier it was reported that as a result of melting of the snow weight on the pass Arshansky route “Tunkinskie sources” under the rubble were two person tour group of 10 people. Group registered, are tourists from Nizhny Novgorod. During communication with them they said that they are trying to help the victims comrades.
The representative of the public organization “The Nizhniy Novgorod regional tourist club” earlier reported that the tourists went up with them to communicate and informed fellow death.
“in fact, one died they (tourists) come to communicate with rescuers and told that one was saved, and the second, unfortunately, died.” – said Podprugina
According to her rescuers. arrive at a place not earlier avalanche 19.00 (14.00 MSK).
This is the second case of avalanches with the victims in Buryatia in the last days. On Wednesday, in the Oka area under an avalanche hit a group of tourists from Moscow, one person was killed. Due to the weather conditions it still can not reach the rescuers and investigators.
