Between Shamhalaevym and unknown conflict took place, during which in the soldier shot repeatedly. He was taken to the hospital, doctors assessed the condition of the athlete as serious, the spokesman said.
The management of the Dagestan Interior Ministry confirmed the shooting, but did not specify the identity of the victim. As noted in the department, the shooting occurred at the
intersection of Chernyshevsky and Batyr in Makhachkala. 
32-year-old stands Shamhalaev featherweight division. He won the Russian championship and the championship in Thai boxing.
