Putin left Golubev as governor of Rostov region – RBC

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has appointed governor of Rostov region Vasily Golubev as acting head of the region due to the expiration of his term. This was reported by the Kremlin press service.

Vasily Golubev led the Rostov region in 2010. Since the beginning of the 1990s and until his appointment as head of the region, he held various positions in the government of the Moscow region, including First Deputy Prime Minister.

It became known that the president dismissed the head of the North Ossetia Taimuraz Mamsurov. He became the eighth dismissed head of the region before the election.
