On signing the decree today informed the press service of the Kremlin, noting that the decree comes into force from the date of its signing.
From the Kremlin’s posts : «In connection with the statement of the governor of the Kaliningrad region Tsukanov early termination of powers … I resolve to accept the resignation of the governor of the Kaliningrad region Tsukanov on their own … Tsukanov appoint an acting governor of the Kaliningrad region to the inauguration of the person elected governor of the Kaliningrad region ».
Note that Nikolai Tsukanov headed to the region September 28, 2010 .
