Russia and Italy are set to active development of bilateral relations – the first channel

The policy of active development of Russian-Italian relations, despite the sanctions and without waiting for their cancellation. This is the main outcome of the talks that Putin held during his one-day visit to the Apennines.

On the eve of Russian President in Milan held talks with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, and in Rome, met with his colleague Sergio Mattarello.

As the presidential press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, the sides discussed the concrete parameters of cooperation in the economic sphere. Vladimir Putin expressed Russia’s position and on the Ukrainian question. The sides noted that the relations between Moscow and Rome should not become hostage to the current difficulties.
