State Duma approved the first reading of a bill to create a list of “undesirable organizations.” The authors of an initiative became a member of Alexander Tarnavskiy (Fair Russia) and Anton Ishchenko (LDPR).
The document provides for a ban on the activities of international organizations that threaten national security and defense. For those involved in the activities of such organizations, provides for administrative otvestvennost from 10 000 to 100 000 rubles. If the ban on the work will be broken and the organization will continue its activities, in addition to increasing the fine strips (from 300 000 to 500 000) to its employees face criminal liability to imprisonment from two to eight years.
According to approved the first reading of the law, establish and update the list of “undesirable organizations” Prosecutor General’s Office will be in agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and based on the information and documents received from the police and security TASS reported.
