In recent years, Russian citizens are increasingly alarmed by the possible consequences of new initiatives in the sphere of the Ministry of Labour policy of calculating pensions. Under the new policy, based pensions will play a role not only the experience of the worker, but also the age when a person retires. And given the fact that the retirement age for women is less than 5 years, it turns out that women, with and working for less than 5 years, losing up to 20% of the possible pension.
This injustice has long worried about the fair sex . Moreover, it is often women can not receive the same high-paying jobs as men, but it happens that men’s wages at the same specialty favorably. Given the size of wages, women lose and pensions.
However, representatives of the Ministry of Labour denied the news that sex differences will impact the amount of pension. As told Andrew Pudov, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Security, pension, no one would expect on the basis of gender identity of the pensioner, and the entire settlement system will follow the same principle. The new system assumes that a retiree can receive pension savings every month in equal distribution of parts. The average payment period in the male population is 227 months, and the female – 270 months, since women generally live longer, and on top of that, they occur before retirement age. Thus, the allocation of funded pension turns out that the monthly payments of female pensioners will be lower than men.
It turns out that the initiative of the Ministry was incorrectly received by the public. As spoken by the Ministry of Labor, the difference in the size of pensions according to the sex will be very small, we are talking about a funded part, which is only 10% of the total.
