Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill suggested to exclude operations abortion of the compulsory health insurance system, and to prohibit their advertising and “propaganda” of abortion.
According to him, “moral conscience can not accept the resolution at the level of the law the so-called surrogate motherhood,” which “distorts the very concept of a mother”.
Families in which women can not have children, Patriarch advised to adopt orphans, since “so always done”.
With regard to abortion , the head of the Russian Orthodox Church believes that women themselves must pay for an abortion.
At the moment in Russia to terminate a pregnancy at 12 weeks can be up to 22 weeks – when there are serious social problems, including rape, death or serious illness her husband and others.
