Russian Ministry of Labor has denied the information that the funded part of the pension for women will be less than what is in men.

During the meeting, a State Duma deputy Andrei Pudom Minister of Labour said that the method of calculating the funded pension has never dealt with the gender differences. No account will be taken only age indicators. “The pension should not depend on the gender of the principle, the principle of granting a pension – the only one – the experience and wages” – quoted the deputy head of department channel “NTV”. Recall that on January 23 it was reported that the innovations to be introduced in the method of calculating the funded part of the pension, will provoke a decrease in its size for women by 20 percent.

The need to revise the repayment period funded pension is associated with an increase in life expectancy of Russians. Because according to the State Statistics, life expectancy can reach 74 years old, Ministry of Labor considers it necessary to revise the so-called period of survival.
