In Vologda celebrated the anniversary of the annexation of Crimea – TVNZ

The anniversary of the annexation of Crimea noted in the Vologda region festive rallies and concerts. Ceremonies were held on March 18 across the country.

So, Vologda rally-concert began with a mass march on the Kremlin Square representatives of regional, city and regional non-governmental organizations working in the field of patriotic education and search activities, student associations and veterans, representatives of political parties and workers of different spheres of activity, and just indifferent residents of the area.

Let us recall that a year ago signed a treaty of accession of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol to the subjects of the Russian Federation.

– Dear citizens! Once upon a time there was a terrible war, history does not know of such a union, when not only men but also women, the elderly, the children began to defend their homeland. We know all the horrors and hardships of the death of comrades, remembers the scene WWII veteran Alexei Perminov, – that today we are united as never before.

The initiator of the meeting is Metelkin Alexander, head of the regional public organization “Vologda association of search engines. ” At the end of the celebration all the participants lined up in the shape of a huge map of Russia and Russian Anthem performed together.

– I am pleased to join the Crimea to Russia. – Shared with reporters KP vologzhanka Galina Zilina. – Firstly, my friends live there. Secondly there is Russian, our people. And, thirdly, I am a historian and I know that Russia should be together with the Crimea. When I showed the map that Crimea – Ukraine is, I always somehow heart ached, so I’m certainly in favor. In Vologda gathered more than three thousand people celebrate this historic event.
