Medvedev unhappy New Year holidays – Dni.Ru

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said about the negative effects of long New Year vacations. He expressed this opinion in his address to the members of the Russian tripartite commission on regulation of social and labor relations.

While congratulating the members of the commission with the New Year, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that the long holidays are negative consequences for the country’s economy. “Let’s face it, the economy is not very good” , – quotes the head of the government TASS.

Medvedev said that it specifically counts the number of public holidays in Russia and European countries. That the length of the Christmas holidays in Russia and Europe coincides, in his opinion, is a good incentive to catch up with the Europeans in terms of productivity. “ I found the Christmas holidays, which in Europe: they are the same number, one to one . That means we need to work as well as in Europe,” – said the head of government.

At the same time Medvedev expressed confidence that the New Year holidays can spend usefully. In particular, the Prime Minister advised colleagues to do sports. This should help to prepare yourself for the new working weekdays, which, as noted by Medvedev, will not be easy. “Coming, 2015-th year will be extremely difficult, there are all the conditions for it to be easy. The external environment for the development of the economy is very unfavorable, there are internal problems”, – he said.
